Ben Affleck is Batman

Think he's an incredibly underrated actor. Look forward to it, can't be a worse Batman than Gareth Bale.

I don't particularly see a problem with Afleck playing Batman, because if you know the source content I'm pretty sure the Batman being portrayed is a slightly older guy, so he might suit that well.

Either way, Man of Steel was shit, and I expect this to go the same way too.

DC have just seen the success of Avengers, realised they only really have SM & BM and thrown them together in a money-grab opperation.

Ben Affleck is a great actor damn it. With Argo, it shows he can direct too. Not looking forward to a Superman-cross though.

I actually dont mind Affleck as Batman, he's a fantastic actor. Also, its good to take note that when Heath Ledger was casted as Joker there was just as much people saying that TDK was gonna be shite. Look how that turned out.

Ben Affleck as Batman isn't that bad to me, though I would prefer him as director, because that's what he's best at. As an actor, he doesn't have a lot of depth. He was good in Argo and The Town, but he acted similarly in both roles. I'm not too confident, but wouldn't be too surprised if he actually ends up good. What irks me is fucking Zack Snyder.

lol I remember that actually. I wouldn't call Affleck fantastic. He's a brilliant director but as I said before not much depth in his acting. But he's definitely talented. It's just that Daredevil doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, even though he was the least of that film's problems.

eh, pretty sure Affleck/Snyder can't butcher the character more than Clooney/Schumacher managed. Still not thrilled, though.

His brother Casey is imo one of the best actors around today. Everything I've seen with him he has blown me away. Especially his performance as Robert Ford. And in Gone Baby Gone he was good. Easily the most underrated actor.

There is no insight into his acting ability. He's average. This is the general opinion of him as an actor. It's been pointed out in this thread. No need to fill in.

But was pointing out some good stuff for people who actually have good taste in films. Unlike you "Dredd is the greatest movie of the year." You seem to have pretty awful taste in everything accept football. And judging by the shoes you want its a pretty safe assumption you have absolutely no sense of style. You can learn a thing or two from the Italians you adore so much.

Casey Affleck is brilliant and Assassination of Jesse James is one of my favourites since I happened to watch it during my western fix around the time Red Dead came out.
And tbf, Dredd was a pretty cool film and very underrated.
Also, more tips pls. I'll need them when I'm 40.
