The acquisition of Ancelotti in and of itself was great, because I couldn't see too many managers coming in to make much of an impact on what Mourinho had left behind. Maybe Zidane though when Shearer took over Newcastle it didn't exactly give the Toon army the best season. So, with Ancelotti in, I'm hoping maybe the old guy can put some life into Kaka, get those legs moving again and get him back into the picture of being an actual player. I believe Isco will be a good one for the future, can't wait to see how well he fits into the club. Bringing back Carvajal was a good move, shouldn't have let him go in the first place. Illarramendi and Casemiro will also be key figures as the more prominent members of the current squad start to age.

Over all, it's been nice to see some younger players come in, I just want to see someone decent fill that striker role.
