I'm warned on GameFAQs for telling cheese to suck my dick so I'll be hanging around here more often until that's passed.

What games y'all niggas playing?
Just beat LA Noire, fantastic game and the story all linked up really nicely.
Deciding what to play next, I've got the choice of;
- XCOM, which I'm probably over halfway through but each mission takes about half an hour now minimum, so it's a bit of a slog.
- Dishonored
- Hitman Absolution
- Tomb Raider
- Alan Wake
- Deus Ex: HR
- Half Life 2
- Portal 2
- Walking Dead (Just the DLC to finish)

Any recommendations?
I think I'm getting Splinter Cell Blacklist tomorrow cos it comes free with the new £200 Graphics Card I just bought.
And I'll end up getting Rome II in the next week, also.

Would love to get through this backlog before GTAV comes out, but I don't see that as likely ):

Really just been playing a lot of Mass Effect 3 lately, story and multiplayer. I'll dabble here and there in FIFA 13, like Father Haze over here (because he molests young lads?) I'm just waiting for GTA V.

GTA will absolutely destroy every other game currently on the market or that comes out in the next few months. Mark it. This game will be epic, the soundtrack was leaked and it's awesome.

Can't wait to go hunting.

Loved LA Noire as well. It took you so long to finish it.

Any of those. All great. Dishonored, Hitman, and Alan Wake are all pretty short and you can definitely finish those off in about 3-4 days each.

Deus Ex is the best of the bunch but takes a little longer. It reminds me of a mix between Splinter Cell and Mass Effect.

Dishonored and Hitman are both stealth games. Hitman can be a little tedious and since the gameplay is VERY similar to Splinter Cell you may want to pass on it if you're going to get Blacklist. Dishonored is a lot of fun.

Since all of those are stealthy type games and since you're getting Blacklist I'd go for Alan Wake. Story is really good. Has a Lost/Twilight Zone feel to it.

I just recently finished off all those games in the past year or so after having them forever so they're still some what fresh in my mind.

Erm no, ROME 2 comes out on the 3rd of September, which could easily be better than GTA

Noire only took so long because I blitzed through the main portion of the game, felt it was a bit tedious by that point so moved onto some other stuff, returned to it feeling fresh just last week.

All the games listed, I have already started. Probably got the furthest in TR tho.
Installing Blacklist now so I'll boot that up later I guess.
And I've already pre-loaded Rome2

DA : Origins is amazing

Bioware WAS pretty fucking awesome...then EA happened. I've got my fingers crossed for DA3, but a disaster wouldn't be a surprise.

^I feel like Bioware will fight to still retain some of that creativity. I mean, ME3 wasn't the best game story-wise, but the Citadel DLC let the writers just...run-loose and do whatever the fuck they wanted and it came out amazing. I really think they've seen how terrible reception DA2 received and they'll work on the core issues. Think I read a quote that said one stage in DA3 will be bigger than all the re-used maps in DA2 combined.

God, DA:O is by far one of the most immersive games I've played from a role-playing standpoint. If DA3 could even touch on that and return to its roots...I did like the more action-y gameplay of DA2 since I'm more of a console person though.


Kind of chuffed that FIFA comes out a week after GTA V. I only have a few days where I can play my PS3, don't need trouble choosing what to play.
