Did anyone get FIFA 14?

I figured while I wait for GTA: O to come out, I'd buy a new game. I've been in a FIFA mood lately but I don't want to give EA any more money than I have to. Alternatively, is Pro Evo any good?

ive been playing pro evo non stop but i havent really played one since 2008 and i didnt play that very much

My bro has FIFA14, haven't touched it. Played a few matches round a friends and it seems much the same as 13. EA are all geared up to next-gen and this years current-gen version just feels like a re-hash.

I'm assuming Konami have probably put more effort into their current-gen version because i don't think a next-gen one is planned?

Either way, does PES play good? Last years was good but it just felt a bit too slow and mechanical at times, does it feel smoother this time round? Cba to download a demm

When has it not? First time I haven't bought a FIFA for ages. Just could not be arsed with the inevitable rage that would come with it. I am generally much more relaxed. Until I get it on the next-gen that is...

Speaking of next-gen I still need to order my PS4 so probs won't get it at release but hopefully the second batch will come before Christmas. Haven't been playing games as much lately so it's not really gonna bother me too much either way.

This is the most apparent rehash since the end of the PS2 era, literally no hugely noticeable differences except for a shitty new UI

I might get it when the price drops. Actually tempted to give PES a try...if I can find it (not the most popular series in the States, lot of places don't bother to carry it).

I'd recommend against buying 14. Gameplay wise, it sucks compared to 13. It feels more realistic but it just...it isn't as fun as 13. Never thought I'd be saying that.

If you play UT a lot, they've changed a few things and I think UT is a lot better.

14 is actually the best fifa in a while. Pretty much perfected all of the changes since 12. Not many big changes but it definitely plays better.

Anyone that says its bad is just mad you can't run at defenders with fast wingers anymore and you actually have to build up play.

With gta 5 being the biggest disappointment and biggest waste of money ever, I was surprised how much I actually like 14 this year.

14 is actually a pretty good game. they've done a lot of things right and the little things I personally really appreciate. only complaints are (again) the fucking horrendous ratings and if you don't have a decent squad with good chemistry in UT, everyone has the first touch of a dying elephant

other than that, yeah, not bad

also UTs carry on to next gen which I also like

Havent bought it yet and dunno if I will this year. I wanna get the next-gen version since itll clearly be better but at the same time I dunno for sure if Im gonna get a next gen console right off the bat. Solid chance I skip out on FIFA this year.
