Youtube Gaming Channel
Sup my m80s.
Me, my GF and a few mates are gonna make our own Youtube Channel doing all sorts of games - Video, Tabletop, Board etc with streaming and competitions and all that bollocks.
Can I count on your support for a subscriber even if you don't care to watch anything?
We're gonna be doing a 24 hour session for International Tabletop Game Day to launch it I think

Re: Youtube Gaming Channel
that sorta shit is hard.
I've got a channel of some spastic games me and my friends play and I just cap the footage. What's funny to me in editing tho, probably isn't funny to anybodyelse haha. so that's our failing.
That and nobody gives a fuck about Trine 2
But yeah, i'll support that shit san

Re: Youtube Gaming Channel
When I can be bothered to log in you will be the first and only channel I ever subscribe to.
While we're on the subject of gaming, can anyone recommend a decent resource gathering RTS? Prefer medieval to futuristic.
Trying to track down a digital download for Age of Mythology and Rise of Nations with no luck, those games are the shit

Re: Youtube Gaming Channel
Oops nvm. Seems this is a tricky game to find as it is quite old. You might just have to order a physical copy, or torrent it.
Haven't played it, but I have played Age of Empires 2 (same creators) which is a super fun game.
I'll subscribe sure.

Re: Youtube Gaming Channel
Best RTS is LOTR BFME II, however no official online servers and is starting to get bit dated
Starcraft supposed to be good but looked to like command and conquer which I didn't like.
Anyway gothic stick with Dota2, you don't need a RTS in your life when you have Dota

Sub'd. Youtube channels are hard unless you're British. The only reason why people enjoy KSI and his irish friend is that their banter sounds better with their accents. There's some d00d with a New York accent that I hate watching

Come and watch us play some weird games and shit if you want - It's 24 hours so jump in for 10 minutes here and there if you want. C-Cheers guys.
We got;
Zombies
Uno
Gloom
Zombie Dice
Forbidden Desert
Smash Up

Re: Youtube Gaming Channel
Also, since we're all going to be doing our own videos for the channel I'm still a bit unsure of what to do.
Since I want to appeal to a wide range...
I was thinking of starting off with some old classics - 90s PS1 and SNES games; Crash, Spyro, Silent Hill, Banjo, Perfect Dark etc - Games that everyone knows and remembers. Then moving onto lesser known games - Parasite Eve, Galarians, Alundra, Jade Cacoon etc. Then maybe do challenge runs, Speed runs and hard-mode runs.
Not sure how interesting they will be to watch though. What do you guys think?

Challenge runs are usually pretty fun. Also alcohol + games tend to be a great combination for comedy.

Re: Youtube Gaming Channel
Fucking hell I'm knackered.
It was a bit of fun, a fair bit of being bored as fuck and wanting to get smashed but couldn't because I was driving.
24 hours is a long time.... We managed it though - Not a roaring success, think we got about 200 views overall but who's really gonna watch tabletop games?
