Can't believe it's been a year since I last made this.

Saw Godzilla thought it was crap. Wasted Cranston in that role.

I hate Xmen...the comic and the first trilogy but I'm a big fan McAvoy and loved First Class. This one wasn't as good but still great over all. Better than other Superhero films where there's constant action scenes, I like how these 2 films instead had some slower paced but brilliant set pieces.

The lifting of the sub in First Class and Magneto lifting the baseball field. All well done and these 2 films are on a whole different level compared to other Marvel shit with terrible jokes and awful actors. And McAvoy's performance is miles better than anyone in this film or any other marvel movie.

Only thing so far I'm looking forward to is Planet of the Apes. Never was a fan but the one a couple years back surprised me. Loved that film.

new Xmen was good. Hope Marvel works on a cross flick. Need to see Wolverine x Captain America. Especially now that Bucky Barnes is mainstream again. Maybe some kind of WW2 based film with Wolverine's POV?

Most Marvel movies are complete shit. The only good ones or not shit ones were Iron Man, Avengers, Captain America 2 and the Hulk. That last ones unpopular but I'm in love with Liv Tyler and will watch anything with Tim Roth. Xmen is trash too. Everything up until First Class and this new one.

Also iirc fox owns xmen so I doubt there will ever be a crossover. They won't sell the rights considering the money they bring in.

Speaking of which I did end up seeing the third one, like you said I thought it was very good. And very realistic, not any sort of wishy-washy bullshit. The ending was kind of...bittersweet though, mainly bitter.

Marvel went through a dark age. Spiderman, Hulk, Daredevil, Punsiher, Ghost Rider, and the first Xmen all sucked. But when you say something like "All Marvel movies are shit", you're throwing Captain America, First Class, Thor, Avengers, and Iron Man under the bus too. And if you think it's becuase the actors suck in all the movies except First Class, it's because all the actors in X-men first class and its sequel are from the UK and Australia.

I'm using hyperbole when I say they all suck... I forgot most of those you mentioned even were made.

I liked the Hulk with Edward Norton because the movie actually took itself seriously which when that happens it sells the idea of these ridiculous things happening. Same with First Class and DoFP.

All of the actors from the original Xmen trilogy are just awful accept Stewart, McKellen, and Jackman.

Idk these movies are constantly shoved down our throats year after year and most of them have the same tone. It's all light hearted and fun than things explode the hero saves the day and all the characters remain who they were at the start.

Maybe I find these new xmen films better because the storylines of Magneto and Charles are more interesting than the bad guys trying to destroy the world and them flying around to save the day and their arcs are much different than that of your average "superhero"

Sadly there's nothing like that coming out so far. Best thing I've seen so far this year was Grand Budapest Hotel which you will probably like if you haven't seen it yet.

It's a psychological thriller If you came in hoping for a another mutant battle A La Xmen Last Stand then you were going to leave disappointed. The next movie should be action packed though. X-men: apocolypse

I didn't like the new Spinderman movies. I thought Toby Mcguire was fucking great, with Kristen Dunts, Willem Defoe, and James Frankso.

And don't get me started on Spiderman 3. EVERYONE hated it, but I thought it was awesome. Venom was fucking cool.

Bad Neighbours was pretty good, I expected to be disappointed but it seem Zac Efron aint a total cunt if a actor anymore.

I liked Days of Future past a lot, great action and story. I wouldnt say its a a perfect movie by any means but its definitely one you guys gotta go see. One thing that kinda pissed me off about it was that they didnt explain a few things such as

and the way they explained how Professor X came back was pretty dumb and missable (I only found out they even mentioned this in the movie while reading a review). It also does a great job of making the X-Men movie timeline pretty confusing to follow.
