I'm only on the 3rd mission. I played a lot of MP but the community died down.

It was just unsatisfying, but I think if I play with my Arya Stark character, I'll have a lot more fun since then I can use the crossbow.
I didn't enjoy the soul cairn and felt it was a bit repetitive. Infiltrating the vampire castle was fun though.
I was just expecting more from Beth. Hopefully the future DLC's are much bigger and better.

Depends on which one. Final Fantasy 6 is still my favorite game ever.Hazy wrote:Final Fantasy is the worst piece of shit I've ever had to misfortune to experience.

Ah! But seeing as how poor Skyrim is, it doesn't surprise me. The last good expansion pack by Bethesda was Shivering Isles for me (for Oblivion). Luckily, there are mods to fix the game on the PC.

Skyrim is comfortably one of the best games I've ever played. The world is just so big and beautiful.
Shivering Isles was brilliant, but Point Lookout for Fallout 3 is great as well.
Haven't played any of New Vegas' DLC's, but that's Obsidian anyway. Fuck Obsidian.
On the topic of Bethesda, any info on an upcoming Fallout game? I'm really craving one at the moment.

NV's DLC's are great. You shouldn't cast them aside. Dead Money is really hard to get into, but when you do it's rewarding.

I was sat thinking about a new Fallout last night. I just prefer the world to TES.

I heard Dead Money is hard as fuck so it scared me away.
I also see there's no news on Fallout 4.
bethseda y u do dis?
Also, as much as I love the Fallout universe, TES is always better for me. I've always been a fantasy nerd.

Re: Games Thread
I played FO3 before I played Oblivion. Maybe that's why.
I haven't heard anything about FO4 in an age. I suppose they've been spending a lot of time on Skyrim.

I played Morrowind before I had ever even heard of Fallout.
Beth have a lot of other projects as well, right? I suppose a game the size of Fallout 4 merits a wait.
Imagine if we get a TES6 before FO4. lal

Dead Money isn't all that hard its sort of annoying though. More so if you play it on hardcore mode.

Depends which you've played.
4 is great.
6 is over-rated but great
7 is over-rated as fuck, but a great game.
9 is god tier writing and mechanics.
10 is great, first playthrough. I find it lacks any sort of longevity.
X-2 gets stupid amounts of hate - The best battle system of any FF Game.
XI I miss. Online MMO. Played it for a bit. S'okay.
12 is hated on, and it's wrong. 12 is fantastic.
13 fucking blows.
13-2 fucking sucks.
Stam, did you post Shadow of the Colossus? Yes mate, top class game. Artform like no other - Ueda really went to town on that.
I used to play a lot of games, but now I just play a couple - Rock Band, FIFA and Skyrim at the moment. Getting into CoD and Battlefield too.

Re: Games Thread
Alan Wake is another one with a really good story. Love the whole Lost/Twin Peaks thing jt has going on.
And the Assassins Creed serires to me has some of the best characters and stories. Ezio imo is in the top 5 best characters of all time.

Borderlands if you have somebody to play with, otherwise, HR (even though I haven't played it)
Borderlands is somewhat dull by yourself

I just finished DE:HR; I highly recommend it. One of the better games I've played in a long time.

Yes Ninja. Fantastic game although I hate the ending. It just sort of cuts off. Other than that my GOTY for 2011

The Missing Link is a good addition if you want to play the DLC.

There are some really good mods for Vampire : Masquerade - Bloodlines in case some of you want to revisit an Oldie-Goldie.
