Nothing wrong with enjoying what I enjoy, cockmonkey.

I listen to all kinds of music, sure Linkin Park aren't renown for their lyrics but I've been listening to them from a very young age. Reanimation is my favorite album of all time and I listened to that shit 24/7.

I said "lol U2" probably because it's not what I imagined someone who consistently insults and berates others on a forum would listen to. My original comment upholds.

Also, I have to stress that Linkin Park is really not that bad. All the fkn idiots who make Naruto and FF amvs using Linkin Park songs have given them a bad name. Their new albums grow more and more creative in terms of instrumentation.

They performed recently on SNL. I hadn't ever heard of them before that, and looked into their album as well.

The male singer in the band has a very sweet voice, and actually sounds the same live as he does on the album tracks.

That's true. Although honestly, screamo gets a bad rep for the wrong reasons. 90% of those bands lack substance in their lyrics, just put up the same bass and synth sequences and are not legible in their singing. The rest...are actually not bad.

When I first listened to this Enter Shikari song, I thought wtf is this shit how can people listen to it. A year later I was humming a song that I didn't know and I realized it was the Shikari song. Now they're one of my favorite bands. If it's just screaming, it's shit but post-hardcore is a really nice genre. Hadouken! usually gets a song into the FIFA games, they're good too.
