No awesome supernatural season ending like the past two seasons =/. The council of evil meeting between Roose and Walder was a nice added touch though. Next season is gonna be the best.

to end the season but alas, I was wrong. Still a great episode. It's often the scenes that are exclusive to the show a la Varys & Littlefinger, Tywin & Arya, etc. that are the best. Loved the little scene with Frey toasting Robb before Putin and Daniel Craig's lovechild finally dropped the ball on Ramsay. Also lol at Ramsay's face when he was showing Theon it was pork sausage. Iwan Rheon is sex.

Now a 10 month wait for the next season and a 10 year wait for the next book.

Good and bad day today. Saw Manu Benett at the Whitecaps game, but that also means he probably didnt get cast as Oberyn seeing as how hes in Vancouver and not Dubrovnik. Oh well =/

I do not see Manu Bennett as the Red Viper, at all. He's way too big. Oberyn should be slim and nimble.

Pedro Pascal has officially been cast as the Red Viper. Never heard of him before but hope he's good.

looks promising, the strongest part of the show is the brilliant casting so i have complete faith that he'll be great, really excited for next season, which will undoubtedly be the best (unless the last two books completely dwarf ASOS which I'm really hoping for)

About 150 pages into ADwD and I think I already like it a lot more than ASoS. And it kicked Feast's ass within the first few PoVs.

Dany's chapters are torture but there is some good stuff in there. Mainly because the POV chapters in ADwD are actually interesting.

The only chapters I liked from AFFC were Brienne and some Ironborn and Dorne chapters. Arya's too but there was too few to choose from.

I can speak for both Hazy and I and say that we aren't douchey enough to do that so it's all good.

Haven't read any of the books so when I was in a WHSmith I thought I might get the first one to start. I picked up a book which had a number one on the cover , SO I ASSUMED IT WAS THE FIRST BOOK, and read a big spoiler on the blurb. It saddened me greatly and completely put me off reading them.

Maybe one day I will return to that state of mind and start on the books, the right one though.
