I honestly don't see, what makes you better than 90% of the earths population, it is obvious you're a social misfit.

The kid at school who got picked on for being weird and unlikable, social outcasted from doing stuff like getting high, drunk and going out with friends, has made you become bitter at everyone around you.
Instead of accepting these are what "normal" people do, you criticize there way of life as you are not suited for that environment.

Linkin Park is okay, but I'm not a fan. Rap-rock is annoying unless its Rage Against the Machine. I know people who hate most mainstream music but still salivate over LP, so I won't judge them.

No I just prefer to associate myself with adults and don't need to alter my brain through the use of drugs to enjoy myself whether I'm alone or with other people. And because I can express my dislike for specific lifestyles doesn't mean I'm not happy. I just rarely go on about things I do enjoy.

I prefer consciousness over intoxication. It's boring being like everyone else. Which is what you're like. I can understand why you felt the need to give into the pressures of adolescence to compensate for the important qualities you obviously lack. A brain, mental stability and of course a face.

its not what you hate that makes you sound unhappy, its just your general attitude. the fact that you care enough to hate or think of yourself as better than people that live a different life than you or have different values. a happy person wouldnt bother themselves with such things.

i know because its a phase i and many others go through as a teenager

So many creative geniuses have used drugs to allow them to produce stuff that people are amazed by, heck Christians believe a guy who spoke to a flaming talking bush (obviously either drugs or unstable)

I think you guys are misinterpreting what I'm saying. I don't have a problem with drinking or smoking or being drunk.

I don't smoke and I don't get drunk. I drink socially but not every weekend. My problem with it is the idiots that do it to try to fit in with their peers or to be "cool."

The whole culture surrounding it is annoying. It's all a means to fit in. How do I know this? Because nobody would do any of those things if their friends or society never said it was cool or fun.

I notice it more than others because my job consists of talking to people and assisting them with the personal and financial matters of their lives. And after talking to 5-10 clients a day you realise that most, if not all of them have absolutely nothing interesting about them. People are just generally boring these days. And all they want in their lives are these shallow meaningless things. The younger they are the more boring they are. Their priorities consist of fitting in and its one of the main reasons the world is collapsing.

Also selphi, very good stuff. Keep em coming.

I agree that drinking and smoking to try and be cool and fit in is annoying - It's an attitude I hate - But I do both because I enjoy them, not because of social constructs. I love the taste of lager and brandy, and I enjoy the effects of being high or hallucinating.

Yeah. There are plenty of ways to have fun without drinking or smoking. But drinking and smoking happen to be highly accessible. I can't go to fucking Disneyland every day or go snowboarding, so I'll go down to the pub with the lads and get pissed or smoke a bowl in the privacy of my own home. I don't need to fit in.

Sometimes I'll even go to a club if I feel like getting a quick shag or some shit. Even though clubbing in England is the worst thing ever and clubbing some place in Scandi, Germany, or the Mediterranean is infinitely better. The English are even trying to ruin Ibiza. I think it's because we get too many chavs, actually.

Everyone is cooler and so much more laid back in Scandi and Germany, not to mention the fucking superb music that gets overlooked by mainstream crowd here. But then again, I also love old school UK dnb.

I fucking hate clubbing.

Like, so much. Loud shitty music, shitty watered down beer, shitty prices and shitty plastic cups. I hate having to scream and shout to order a pint, getting no change from a fiver and wooping to the next god damn Imagine Dragons song that comes on next.

Much better places, like a quiet hip-hop bar or retro gaming bar near me. Good tunes, average prices and no screaming or shouting like a mong to be heard.

I hate new-age DnB too, holy fuck is it awful.

Like, when I work and they put BBC Radio 1 on for 12 hours, 7pm to 7am. I like Drum/Drill and Bass and Glitchcore - But the shit they play is awful.

ESPECIALLY the "ARE U READYYYYYYY?!!?!?!?!?!? *Vuvuzela* *BAVUUUUUM sirens* and "WHO ERE'S GOT TWITAH!?"
